Introduction

My [2007] NaNoWriMo attempt. Don't expect any great quality (or indeed, any quality), because I won't be doing any editing until after it's all over (and probably not even then).


As far as being a NaNoWriMo challenge goes, I now (2007-11-30 00:10, local time) declare this complete with 50,146 words. That's subject to the error margin of my word counter so I don't know how many it actually is, but since the official NaNoWriMo word counter makes exactly the same mistake I'm assuming it counts. I might do another chapter tomorrow just to do away with any doubt. (Update: I did; the 30th still isn't over and it's now over 51,200. No way there are less than 50k real words in there.)


Of course, the story itself isn't complete and I definitely intend to finish it. Leave your feed subscriptions intact and I'll keep feeding you chapters, albeit as a slightly less feverish pace as I start to let other things (not least my other publish-as-I-go novel) back into my life.


I never did get that cover blurb done. I just can't think what it should say.
